On Tuesday Oct 2, 2007, the Lord called his faithful servant, Mabel Olson, home to be with Him.

Mabel was born Dec 15, 1918 at Colome, SD.

She married Archie Olson in 1941. They had five children, Duane, Dennis, Delaine, Dorene and Donna.

Mabel enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, quilting and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed working with the young children in the AWANA program in the churches that she attended.

Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Duane (Sharon) Olson, son Dennis (Glenda) Olson, daughter Delaine (Garry) McLaughlin, daughter Dorene (Jack) Hurd, daughter Donna (Mel) Koslowsy, her eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Archie; two sisters; six brothers (in infancy) and son-in-law Ron.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct 5th at Campbell, Paula and Quinn Funeral Home in Rapid City.

Graveside services will be at the Hill City Cemetery at 10 am, Saturday Oct 6th.

Celebration of Mabel's life will be at 1 p.m. Sat Oct 6th at the First Evangelical Free Church in Rapid City with the Rev. David Greenhood officiating.

A memorial has been established to Rainbow Bible Ranch.
