Carolyn Brost April 12, 1938 - October 11, 2023

Carolyn Joyce Brost, 85, died October 11, 2023. She was born on April 12, 1938, in Alliance, Nebraska to Elizabeth and Joseph Sherlock.

She married Edward William Brost, January 26, 1957. As a wife and mother, she earned her Registered Nursing and Nurse Practitioner degrees.

She worked at Fort Meade VA from 1968 until 2004 when she retired. Carolyn was loved and respected by her colleagues, coworkers and patients.

Carolyn enjoyed wearing jewelry, playing cards, knitting, quilting, and making gifts for her family and friends.

Carolyn was as sweet as her jelly and always a lady.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Ed, sons Will (DeeAnn, children Jonna (Matt) and Taylor), Mark (children Angela, Mary, Berta and Jeramia), David and 5 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her son Wayne and daughter-in-law Sherie.
