RAPID CITY - Ivan H. Rosedahl, 91, died Wednesday, September 29, 2004, at R.C. Regional Hospital.

Ivan was born January 25, 1913, in Dassel, MN to Arvid and Marie (Nelson) Rosdahl. The family moved to rural Stockholm, SD when he was 9 years old. After his marriage to Gertrude Korsberg on September 24, 1936, they moved into the town of Stockholm and then in 1947 they moved to Rapid City. For over 20 years he was an over-the-road driver for United Buckingham Transportation Co. After his retirement, he drove school and tour buses.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Gertrude, daughter Janet (Harry) Keeney, Rapid City, sons Roland (Vi) Rosedahl of Spearfish and Merlyn Rosedahl of Mounds View, MN, son-in-law Mike Ewart of Rapid City, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by their daughter Linnea Julaine (Julie) Ewart, his parents and three sisters.

A memorial has been established for Rainbow Bible Ranch.

A visitation will be held from 11:30 am to 2 P.M. Sunday, October 3 at the Campbell, Paula & Quinn Funeral Home in Rapid City. Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M. Monday, October 4, 2004 at the First Evangelical Free Church at 1124 Kansas City Street in Rapid City. Family burial will be at Pine Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Rapid City.
