I love doing what I do. I like telling the story of how God led me to attend Bible College in Montana after I graduated from high school. In this school there were numerous students that were studying for the ministry or preparing for the mission field. When asked what my plans were, I would simply reply, “I am going back to the ranch”.

Surely I heard plenty of sermons on the Great Commission… you know “Go ye into all the world”. I would be questioned on why I was not attending an “Ag School” to prepare me for my future. Again I would reply that God had led me to attend Bible College. I had the privilege of being the Christian Service Director during my final semester in Montana. I enjoyed that very much, especially the chapel services that I would conduct. I was even the emcee for the Christmas Banquet just before I left.

These opportunities would be good experience for when I returned to the ranch. Right? I was asked to share my life verse or at least a favorite before I went back to the ranch in western South Dakota. I chose Ephesians 4:1-2. Paul wrote, “I beseech you brethren to walk worthy of the vocation to which you are called…” I figured that would be perfect for all that wondered what my calling would be as I was leaving Bible College and heading back to the ranch.

Little did I know how God was planning to use Larry Reinhold on my return to the Lonetree. Within a year, Rainbow Bible Ranch was founded and operational. Amazing! And you know that verse about going into all the world… well… many from all over the world now come to the ranch.
