How can a young man (or woman) cleanse his way?

By taking heed according to Your word.

With my whole heart I have sought You;

Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!

Your word I have hidden in my heart,

That I might not sin against You

I memorized this Scripture from Psalm 119 many years ago at the encouragement of my parents. Not only good advice but essential truth.

Our standard always needs to be, “Is it biblical?” not, “Does it work?” Any compromise with the world, whether in doctrine, morals, or relationships,will lead to tragic consequences.
