I attended the memorial service of a dear saint today, under the tall Ponderosa Pines at the Nemo Cemetery. Dick Seaman lived a long life and had an impact on many. Knowing that, I was taken by one statement that a former neighbor, who was 91 years of age said to me. He said Dick loved having company and in Dick's words, "You never really get to know someone until their feet are under your table."

The "gift of hospitality" is nearly lost. And that is a sad situation. Considering the events of the last year along with the trend that has been taking place, we need to have people come into our home... share hospitality. I grew up with a family that was sincerely hospitable. And I agree with our old friend... "You never really get to know someone until their feet are under your table."
