Sure was the sweetest way to close out a summer for our girl. Hailey was baptized after church this morning in the creek. She accepted Christ when she was 3 years old, but recently started feeling the tug on her heart to be baptized as a public proclamation of her faith. This girl amazes me…no matter what kind of season she’s in —she has developed the habit of starting each day in the Bible & doing devos. She’s always inviting me to some new Bible plan & it’s something this Mama cherishes. At 10 years old, she had found God to be her refuge.

So grateful for the impact Rainbow Bible Ranch has made on her walk from the past years she has gone & for some incredible mentors in her life.

We sure have come to love this place over the past couple of summers. A few years ago I started praying that in the right time God would lead us to a camp like this for our son. A place that focuses on spiritual growth through real life experiences. A place with both good work and good play. A place where he can advance in skills and experience growth and learning in an area of interest in his life (in this case, horses and ranch life). A place with good, solid, trustworthy people who love Jesus and live out the important things in life. Neat to see God answer those prayers. Thankful Simon was able to go back to Rainbow Bible Ranch in South Dakota this summer.

Miley completed her 5th year of camp at Rainbow Bible Ranch on Friday evening with a heart full of Jesus 🙏🏼, some new friends , improved horsemanship and she won the shooting competition (tied for 1st) 🔫. We are super proud of our girl. This year is dedicated to Miley’s grandpa Walter Tackett; he sure would be happy Miley won the shooting competition.
I had to miss the rodeo this year because I am still in Ohio; but Dave took some great pictures with the big camera for me..Thank you Larry, Robin and Ranch Family for the wonderful ministry and horsemanship you share with all these kids year after year!

Dear Robin and Larry,
I had a lot of fun at camp and I wanted to thank you for helping me not to be so down the first day I was there and helping me to feel more welcome. You guys really helped me grow in my relationship with God. I loved the camp and my counselor and my friends and my horse Skip. He was such a sweet boy. Thank you so much. Hope to come to camp again in the future.
