October 2020 - From a family in Rapid City

We always feel such gratitude for all your family does through the ministry of Rainbow Bible Ranch; to sow into children's lives and our community and advancing the Kingdom of God. We were amazed, but not surprised, to see you step out in faith and have camp this past summer…. which we knew was hard work for your family and team yet a blessing to so many. Thank you for your faithfulness.

October 25, 2020 - from a friend in Colorado

Dear Reinhold Family,

Thank you so much for the letter with news of your family and Rainbow Bible Ranch.

We were not sure if you were having camp this summer or not but since I never saw on your website that you were not, I assumed you probably were. As each week came up on the calendar, I prayed for you fervently. Without having your frequent updates and the beautiful pictures that we have come to enjoy so much! Nevertheless, despite all the various difficulties... as you said kids need to be outside to experience God's love through human channels and to be taught God's word perhaps now more than ever. I continue to pray for the kids who attend camp this summer that the love they felt and the lessons they learned will stick with them!

September 2020 - From a brother in Christ

I willingly and lovingly give you a gift from my heart to help with the spread of God's word and feeding the soul. I love you all and I am so very thankful for the mission to our children. You will be blessed beyond measure. I continue to pray for all of you thank you so much ranch crew. May God continue to bless you. Please keep me on your mailing list giving me the opportunity to help as I can.

August 2020 - From a Camper that attended

Dear Reinhold family and staff,

Thank you so much for the opportunity to come to camp this summer. I had an amazing time, and it was a great first experience with Rainbow Bible Ranch.

I really appreciated the solid uncompromising biblical foundation that you taught us. Also, I was impressed by your bold application of truth to current world issues. Even the songs conveyed honest facts in a memorable team building way. The songs are the way we take the truth we learned in a compact format and it sure is better use of the brain space than silly ditties that are often sung at camps.

Everyone was incredibly dedicated to helping me and the other campers learn and grow. I have to say I really like your no-nonsense approach ….

It was great to learn how to ride much better. Your horses were quite well trained. I majorly appreciated how they were trained to respond to their riders, rather than just blindly following the horse in front of them. Tell “Lee” thank you again for me.

Thank you for the great food, great friends, and great experiences. The skits were so creative that I realized the potential of 40 plus “heads together”. The swimming hole sure was fun! Amusing scenarios on the diving board and team battles over the floating raft are special memories…

Thank you for the unique experiences you provided me at the ranch. May God bless your ministry. I really hope to be able to come back next year!

Your friend,

Michelle

Yesterday eve, we had a great small fellowship at the Reinhold's Lonetree Ranch/Rainbow Bible Ranch with good friends. It was a great evening and the drive to and from the ranch was beautiful. I finally finished my mission of painting a piece for each of the family. Thank you Larry Robin Reinhold for giving me the opportunity and a wall. And so I was able to deliver the final work which was Robin at a branding at the Frank Dobesh ranch 2 years ago. The painting is acrylic on canvas, an 18x24 gallery wrap. Still have a couple of other works in progress of the family and ranch. Beautiful sunset driving back last nite. Bear Butte was wrapped in color. I would ask for your prayers and support of the Reinholds and the Rainbow Bible Camp to somehow open this summer. Their mission is such a great ministry for our coming generation of youth. God Bless.

Camp was Great! A very tired, sun and wind beat cowgirl said on Friday Night. Her favorite part...to many to tell! Her highlight of course was riding horses, going for trail ride and helping in the kitchen fix rhubarb cake.
Thank you to Rainbow Bible Ranch and all the fantastic staff who go above and beyond to patiently work with our kids. Precious memories made and hearts are being molded!

Little sister also got a taste of Rainbow Bible Ranch rodeo. A fast ride with Mr. Larry where she jumped with help to run towards the goat! She snatched that ribbon off the goat in great fashion.

We brought Izzy home from camp last night. She was one tired, slightly sunburned, mosquito-eaten, dirty but extremely happy little girl!
And those two girlies on the fence? Patiently waiting for Mr. Larry to come give them their turn at goat chasing!

Had such a great time watching two of my nieces, visiting from Texas, at their rodeo- after a week of camp at Rainbow Bible Ranch! Some of my favorite childhood memories are from this amazing camp...., Riding horses, swimming in the pond, sleeping outside, camp friends ! Thank you RBR for all the great memories and for keeping those memories alive for generations to come! — feeling happy at Rainbow Bible Ranch

NOTE - Shawna wrote this after our Friday Nite Closing Program on June 28

That is a bunch of kids belting out a song of praise to our God and a woman with a precious gift of music, compassion and selfless love coercing the tune from the keys.

And the crew in red shirts? Beginning with the adults down to the youngest? A group of dedicated believers that have heeded the call to serve Christ in this capacity and desire to reach kids with the Gospel. I know they don’t desire commendation, I know they would say all the glory is and what they do is FTK (For the Kingdom).

That said, let me just say this. I saw in the faces of those kids the stories of where their families have come from. I saw stories that could bring a person to their knees and stories of redemption and exaltation of the God they chose to serve. What I also see every time I attend Rainbow is hope, love, submission, compassion and a burning desire to uphold all for the sake of the cross. I come away filled and encouraged and, I pray, so do those kids, along with hope in oftentimes difficult environments.

Thank you. Thank you for not faltering, for rising to the call, for welcoming and loving even when your heart may not be in it. Thank you for letting Jesus full you and letting us partake of the overflow.

Hi! I just want to share with you all: I was singing lullabies to Liam and I was trying to think of some new ones that had more depth and meaning than “Twinkle Twinkle”. I remembered “Riding the Storm” which has always been my favorite theme. Now I sing him a Rainbow theme song every night and I love that he falls asleep hearing the words of praise, courage, and peace. Praying for you all as another summer starts. I have a bracelet that I got as a nurse that says “it’s a beautiful day for saving lives”. I feel that that message applies so well to the work God does through you on a daily basis as well.

Two and a half weeks until Emma's first time at camp! She's so excited and we're excited for her! The other four will all be attending this summer as well. Rainbow Bible Ranch is in it's 40th year of ministry sharing God's word through His creation. Our kids are happy to tell you all about it, why they love it, and why they work so hard to pay their way. Eternal investments and life long lessons are well worth it!

If you have a son or daughter, grandchild, or young family friend that you wish to enrich their life, consider giving them a wonderful opportunity and experience by signing them up for a camp session at Rainbow Bible Ranch. A unique Christian Camp with "Ranch Values", and teachings of the Bible, but also horsemanship, gardening, stewardship, and fellowship, packed full of experiences, swimming, fishing, softball, etc, not to mention great food. Wish I was young enough to go.
